Architectural Request

If you are doing a “Replacement in kind” (Using the same materials and colors), there is usually no need to complete this form.

However, if you have any doubts, please do complete this for for proper instruction.

Planning a home improvement change of some sort? Tell us a bit about it and the Architectural Committee will review your request. Be advised that the Architectural Committee recommends that you follow all Colorado and Jefferson County guidelines and strongly encourage that you obtain any permits that may be required for your improvements, whether inside or outside your residence.

The purpose of the Walnut Creek Homeowners’ Association Architectural Committee is to make sure your improvements conform to the HOA Covenants. An approval from the Architectural Committee does not imply that you have met the code requirements of the state or county. That is only determined by the proper government regulations.

Without Committee approval, if one of your neighbors registers a complaint and a suit is filed, you may be required to change your improvements to meet covenant guidelines resulting in additional expense to you.

When you select your project on this form, the relevant fields will be revealed.
